One of Billy’s passions is helping people who cannot help themselves. Billy founded Tricord Global, Inc., in 2008 and serves as the Chairman of the Board. Billy leads Tricord to provide credit, financial services and education to the poor, teaching them how to become economically stable, generate income for their families, and sustain that level of know-how permanently. He also oversees community development programs in third world countries such as “Trash for Cash” which provides firebricks for cooking fuel without having to destroy trees. In his role, Billy negotiates terms for investments, coordinates financial activities, and directs objectives to ensure maximized returns and continuance of planned operations. In addition to currently leading Tricord, he oversees Tricord Global Fund, raising capital for new ventures. He has been a serial entrepreneur in starting five companies and has been involved in capital raises and restructuring in several others. Billy was CEO for Four B’s Management, LLC, owning and overseeing the multi-million dollar real estate portfolio located in five different real estate markets. While managing operations, he analyzed property values, negotiated loans to finance construction, and oversaw acquisitions. He travels well over 100,000 miles a year overseeing Tricord and working with clients in varying consulting capacities.
He is an author and public speaker, speaking to business crowds in excess of 10,000. One of his enjoyments in life has been to travel the globe. He has visited 6 continents and traveled to over 70 different countries around the world. Billy and his wife, Becky, have been married for 40 years and have two children and four grandsons.
